ASSIGNED CREW ROLES
Director and script writer.
My role was to direct the actress in the process of the film making and write the script of the short film. I was chosen to be director and script writer as the group felt that I would be best to be in charge of directing the actress during our film production as I could direct the actress to act in certain ways to display conventions of thriller. I was also chosen to write the script of the short film as the group felt I had the best understanding of thriller films and conventions, therefore I could create conventions of thriller within the script and through directing the actress on the day of filming.
Producer and props manager.
Nya's role was to oversee the post production and production of our short film and she also had to preapre props on the day of filming. The group agreed that Nya would be best to oversee the post production and production of our short film to ensure our film looked professional. Nya was chosen as props manager as both me and Lolita were busy with our roles on the day and therefore Nya was able to fulfil this role.
Camera woman.
Lolita's role was to record the filming of our short thriller film. The group agreed that Lolita would be the best to person to do this role as Lolita is currently doing an A-Level in Photography. Also, the camera we borrowed from the media deapartment to film was the same camera Lolita owns at home, so therefore she knew how to use the camera to the best of her ability unlike me and Nya. Although we all took part in the process of using the camera to film, Lolita was the main camera woman as she was better experienced compared to me and Nya.
